Chlorhexidine Gluconate (CHG) Swab Applicator consists of a medical-grade foam pad with a plastic handle pre-filled with 2% CHG and 70% IPA antiseptic solution (can be customized). It is designed to facilitate aseptic technique and help reduce the risk of cross-contamination and direct hand-to-skin/patient contact.
The solution color is available in orange, green and purple. Each applicator is individually packed in a plastic blister in our cleanroom GMP factory.

Product Description
CHG is a fast-acting, broad-spectrum, persistent antiseptic that significantly reduces the number of microorganisms on intact skin. It provides a proven system that supports infection control guidelines and helps reduce the incidence of BSIs and SSIs. CHG maintains a persistent antimicrobial function by disrupting the cell membrane and precipitating its contents, while IPA quickly destroys micro-organisms by denaturing cell proteins — keeping the skin protected for at least 48 hours, including against MRSA, VRE and CRE.
Each applicator combines a medical-grade foam pad with a plastic handle pre-filled with 2% CHG and 70% IPA solution. The press-down mechanism releases the antiseptic evenly into the foam pad for consistent, aseptic preparation with minimal hand-to-skin contact.

How to Use
Peel Open the Pouch
Peel open along the line to take out the applicator. Do not touch the sponge.
Press Down to Activate
Press down to activate and push down to release the antiseptic solution into the sponge pad.
Apply to the Treatment Area
Wet the treatment area with antiseptic, using gentle back-and-forth strokes. Allow the solution to dry for at least 3 minutes before draping.
